Jesus Today

Our Version...
I put My hope in
the Lord, and His unfailing love rests upon me. Some of His children forget how
to hope. We have been disappointed so many times that we don’t want to risk
being let down again. So we forge ahead stoically --living mechanically. Some
people put their hope in problem solving, medical treatments, the stock market,
the lottery, and so on. But He challenges me to place my hope fully in Him.
No matter what is
happening in my life now, my story has an amazingly happy ending. Though the
way ahead may look dark to me, there is a brilliant , everlasting Light at the
end of my earth-journey. God's finished work on the cross secured this heavenly
hope for me, and it is absolutely assured! Furthermore, knowing that my story
finishes well fills my present journey with Joy. The more I put my hope in God,
the more His Love-Light shines upon me --brightening my day. Remembering that
God is with me continually and He Himself is my Hope
